What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you see plastic cups arranged linearly? Well, you might think that’s an arrangement for the party! Have you ever thought these can be used to make something artistic? In dreams, may be!
But these guys at the BELO studio made something utterly beautiful out of these plastic cups. The finished result will absolutely change the way you look at plastic cups and the possibilities you see in everyday household objects like these.
They filled the cups with coloured water and arranged them one by one in order to make something uniquely beautiful. The team at BELO Studios had an audacious goal. They wanted to create “the world’s largest artistic (rain)water mosaic.” That is pretty vague. But as you’ll see when the camera zooms out, their creation is stunning and perfect.
Yes, that’s the final product. Isn’t it just adorable? According to the description of the video uploaded by Serge Belo, “To raise awareness among the general public about the global clean water crisis, the artist Belo created an image composed of 66,000 cups of coloured rainwater simulating levels of impurities found in water all over the planet. This major work of 3,600 square feet, representing a fetus in the maternal womb, emphasises the necessity of water, even before birth, for each living person.
